Snorkeling – Free Diving

Cat Island has fabulous snorkeling!  A great variety of aquatic life can be seen right off Tango Beach.  Or, have Top Cat take you by boat to coral reefs teeming with fish.

Free-diving will allow you to see even more! Top Cat can show you the ropes, or catch dinner for you.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with free-diving…it is diving without the aid of scuba gear.  Bahamians free dive in order to spear fish and lobster for dinner.

(Lobster season is from the first of August to the end of May.)
